Portobello Christmas Shopping Crawl

This week Edinburgh switches on its Christmas lights and the fair opens and all that stuff (mulled wine at the German market!), and also Portobello has its own special evening on Thursday 29th November. Lots of the shops on the High Street are open late, there is singing and other fun stuff. Here is a poster by ME to advertise it.

- I am an artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I work across a wide variety of disciplines and I have a BA in Printmaking and a Masters Degree in Illustration from Edinburgh College of Art, where I sometimes teach illustration students. I am currently Artist in Residence at the Sick Kids hospital in Edinburgh where I try to do drawings to make the patients feel better. I illustrate the LOLLIPOP AND GRANDPA series of books, published by Phoenix Yard, and have also illustrated for Frances Lincoln, Walker Books, Barrington Stoke and Hachette. I have enjoyed being the in-house designer for both of the amazing Edinburgh shops Paper Tiger and Studio One since 2011. I am registered with the Scottish Book Trust and Live Literature as a visiting Illustrator, and have a lot of experience in running workshops and events in Primary schools, libraries and book festivals.
